MEMS+ is a software platform used by engineers who create MEMS equipment and integrate them with CMOS circuits and packaging. It is suitable for designing and optimizing MEMS-based segments such as motion sensors (accelerometers and gyroscopes), micro-switches, microphones, micro-mirrors, energy harvesters and timing devices. MEMS+ users bring together the latest finite elements, or the basic MEMS-specific building blocks, into a completed design. These MEMS+ designs are much faster in providing simulation results than the conventional finite element analysis tools. The immense gain in simulation time makes it possible to observe complex multiphysics behavior and improve the performance and efficiency of product designs. MEMS+ designs can be directly integrated into MathWorks system models and Cadence circuit designs.
